What’s the difference between having 1 set verses 3 sets of the Rudders & Ramparts expansion?

While you only need 1 set to play the combat rules, having 3 sets gives players more opportunity to upgrade their vessels and Feudums. With only 1 set, there are simply FEWER vessels/castles that are upgradeable, creating more demand. The upkeep cost is always a deterrent, even when vessels/castles are plentiful (with 3 sets in play). That said, some people simply want to replace all of the regular vessels with the minis, ignoring the special combat rules and treating them as regular vessels, but with extra visual appeal.

Are there any estimates on shipping for “The Collection” pledge-level option?

We are waiting on this information from Panda, but we are working on it! It will be added soon. Sorry for the delay, some of these items have not yet been manufactured, and the weights are just estimates.

Should I add all add-ons that I want to purchase now, by adding the corresponding cash quantity to my pledge, or should I do it in pledge manager once the campaign ends?

It’s up to you. Backers who are interested in reaching stretch goals may over-pledge now, as they will be given a credit that can be redeemed for shipping and add-ons after the campaign!

Will the new components fit into the existing Meeple Realty organizer?

The original Meeple Realty Feudum insert will work with the new insert expansion. It’s modular. The goal is to accommodate 3 sets of Rudders + Queen’s Army components (and maybe a few extras).

With a $1 pledge, will I have access to the “Pledge Manager,” or do I have to do it on Kickstarter?

With a $1 pledge, you’ll receive access to the “Pledge Manager” after the campaign—at campaign prices!

Will there be an “everything bundle” with the 3 Rudders & Ramparts expansions?

“The Collection” pledge only has one (1) Rudders & Ramparts set. This seems to be the consensus as not everyone wants 3 sets, and only 1 is needed to play the combat variant. However, you MAY add on additional sets in the pledge manager (as well as additional flight stands).

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:29

Once making a pledge, can I add on to it later in the campaign?

Yes, you can. The campaign runs for 25 days.

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:29

Will replacement Alter Ego cards be ready in time to ship with these Rudders & Ramparts pledges?

Yes. The Fixed Alter Ego cards will be in the add-on store for free during the pledge manager phase. You can add them to your order then!

If I bought the retail version of the original Feudum base game, will there be the option to buy all the components to turn it into the Big Box version in the pledge manager phase?

If you already have the base game, you would have to purchase the following individually boxed expansions: 1. Windmills & Cataplts (sold out on Odd Bird Games Store) 2. Seals & Sirens (Limited qty) 3. Alter Ego (Limited qty) Currently, it is not cost effective for me to reprint ALL expansions because there are so many. However, many of these may be found online and in retail stores. The original stretch goals ONLY accompany Kickstarter editions of that product.

Is the Meeple Realty insert for the big box or for the retail version?

The “Big Box” is same size as the regular box, it just has more content within. An original Meeple Reatly insert will expand in a modular fashion to accommodate the new module (the cardboard box insert will have to be removed for the larger assembly). The price of the Meeple Realty insert on the “Add-on” section is for the original insert. Meeple Realty still working on pricing for the new module!

Why would I want 3 boxes of this expansion?

With only one set, there are simply FEWER vessels/castles that are upgradeable, creating more demand. The upkeep cost is always a deterrent, even when vessels/castles are plentiful (with three sets in play). And yes, playing by the combat variant, the cardboard vessels are still in play, always. Others, who don’t play the combat variant, can simply enjoy the pieces for their beauty. (This is one reason why some are getting 3 sets).

Why is the Odd Bird Games store closed?

The Odd Bird Games Store is closed during the campaign. It will reopen AFTER the campaign ends, (in about a month).

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:30

Is this expansion compatible with the Queen's Army solo mode?

Yes. However, the Queen does not need vessels, so the option to upgrade them is only available to human players.

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:30

Is it possible to have queens army stretch goals as an add-on?

Currently the only Queen’s Army Stretch goal available is the Queen’s Army Playmat. This was the most important one, but I may make some behemoth’s graves as a convention giveaway.

Because Windmills & Catapults sold out right away, will other add-ons sell out as more people choose “The Collection” pledge?

Actually, Windmills & Catapults sold out before the campaign started. However, it is included, (along with Seals & Sirens and Alter Ego) within the Big Box edition. I’ve decided to reprint the Big Box (for the third time!) if need be. The individual boxed set of Windmills & Catapults is sold out.

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:36

For the items marked "Limited" and "Sold Out," does this reflect current stock? Will they ever be reprinted? If certain expansions are sold out, what happens if I back the full collection?

The only inventory not being reprinted are the game’s first three expansions (which are now part of the “Big Box”). They are Windmills & Catapults, Seals & Sirens and Alter Ego. Their reprint depends heavily on International demand from localization partners. The pledge called, Feudum “The Collection” features the Big Box, which will ALWAYS contain the unboxed components of three expansions previously mentioned. I hope this helps!

Is there an opportunity to buy two more Rudders & Ramparts expansions in the pledge manager if you select “The Collection” pledge? Will these be available for a reduced cost to correspond with the Rudders & Ramparts 3x bundle pledge?

All the MSRP and discounted campaign prices are set under the “Add-On” section. The 3x Bundle is unique, as I discounted it a little more than my standard 20% campaign discount. That doesn’t make Feudum “The Collection” reward any less valuable. One thing you can do is pledge at the 3x bundle level, and simply pick and choose the add-ons you want.

Do the Guild Tracking Dice and dice box shown in pictures come with “The Collection” pledge? Does the Meeple Reality insert come with it as well?

The Guild Tracking Dice (part of the Feudum “The Collection” pledge) includes the 36 dice in the castle package! However, the Meeple Realty insert is separate.

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:36

Does ”The Collection” include The Queen's Army campaign stretch goals?

No. Only the Queen’s Army playmat (which was one of the stretch goals) comes in “The Collection” pledge. The Queen’s Army Kickstarter edition is sold out.

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:37

Does the expansion fit into the big box with all the other expansions?

It depends. Meeple Realty is developing a special modular insert that will accommodate up to 3 sets of the Rudders & Ramparts expansion. (It will require you to remove the cardboard insert). Besides this method for storing components, I would not recommend placing unprotected minis into the box. The Rudders & Ramparts box will come with a plastic storage tray that will keep all minis safe.

What is in the Original Feudum Campaign Stretch Goals add-on?

The “Original Feudum Campaign Stretch Goals add-on includes: - 11 bonus Royal Writ cards - 9 Wooden vessel tiles - 1 Gilded progress die - 1 Embroidered haversack - Royal starting player marker (resin king)

When will the prices for the metal stand be finalized?

I am still waiting for this information from Panda and will post it as soon as we receive it.

Last updated: March 02, 2019 09:37

Do all Big Box and Alter Ego expansions require the "FIXED" Alter Ego Cards?

  • Both the current “Big Box” edition and the sold out “Big Box KS edition from the original Feudum campaign NEED the fixed alter ego cards. (The current Big Box is ALMOST perfect, but still has the 2/4vp missing from the upper left)

  • All remaining Alter Ego boxed expansions, NEED the fixed alter ego cards (limited qty left)

  • Any future reprints of the “Big Box” or Alter Ego will have the correct cards.

Last updated: March 04, 2019 19:39

Why does the 3x Bundle come with 1 KS edition and 2 Retail edition expansions?

The 3x bundle was a backer suggestion. I suggested backers simply buy 3x KS edition (adding two add-ons in pledge manager). However, backers wanted extra vessels only (without duplicate stretch goals) so that they could save money on a bundle deal… even if that meant putting them in a generic box. Thus, a compromise was born. 1 KS edition + 2 retail editions. You can STILL purchase 3 KS editions w/o using the bundle reward if you want 3 sets of free stretch goals. It will cost a little more that way. I hope this makes sense.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
