Gen Con 2019 + Manufacturing/Shipping Update + Lockdown + Podcast

Hi Folks! 

Sometimes, no news is good news, and that's certainly the case here. Everything is moving along as planned.  As you know, I originally promised a December ship date to backers, but as you know we are still ahead of schedule.  The latest schedule is below, along with some housekeeping items AND a link to a recent podcast!  Besides that, the Odd Bird Team is just getting ready for Gen Con and we hope to see you there!

Latest Manufacturing/Shipping Update from Panda 

Most of the PPC approvals (and getting all the measurements EXACTLY right) are done! See pics below. These little tweaks pushed back the timeline by about 7 days, but we are still AHEAD of schedule. : )

• Prepress/Design Verification: Complete
• Preproduction: 2 weeks.  Complete
• Mass Production: 8 weeks. June 15th to August 15th
• Final Assembly: 2 weeks August 15th to September 1st
• Shipment to Fulfillment Centers: 5-6 weeks (from china via freight to fulfillment centers) September 8th to October 22nd
• Shipment to Backers: 4 weeks (from fulfillment centers to backers) October 22nd to November 22nd

Lockdown 

If you were a backer, you will notice that you were charged for your pledge DURING the campaign, but that shipping and ADD ONS will be charged separately on November 1, 2019 when "lockdown" happens. Until then, you may continue to alter your preorder in the Backerkit pledge manager. (Pay Pal backers are always charged immediately).

Hey folks!

Everything seems to be on and even a little bit AHEAD of the schedule!  Here's what's going on:

Panda Production Schedule as of today:

Here is the latest confirmed schedule. This is subject to change as I approve the prototypes from Panda, some of which I will share with you via updates! The goal is to deliver product to backers no later than mid December, as promised; however, as of now, we are ahead of schedule.

Preproduction:  June 1st to June 22nd 

Mass Production:  June 22nd to August 22nd

Final Assembly:  August 22nd to September 8st

Shipment to Fulfillment Centers: September 8th to October 22nd

Shipment to Backers: October 22nd to November 22nd

Guild Tracking Dice Prototype

Here are some nifty pics of Panda working on the Guild Tracking Dice package. Panda is very excited about this, as it will be the FIRST custom dice package design they have worked on.

Feudum Playmat Board Tube

Here is the tube that the Feudum Playmat Board will be packaged in!  This tube will keep the playmat free of creases and safe and sound during transit.

Folks, 

Tommy from Meeple Realty sent me these spectacular photos for the expansion insert!  As you know, the expansion insert is modular and ONLY works along side the original insert sold separately. 

The expansion insert accommodates 3 sets of the Rudders & Ramparts expansion, the Queen's Army and the Guild Tracking Dice!  There's even a bonus compartment to better sort the locations discs! 

NOTE: To properly add the expansion insert, the game's cardboard insert must be removed. BOTH the original insert (right) and the expansion insert (left) work perfectly with both Feudum the game and Feudum "Big Box" (which is actually the same size as the base game, only stuffed with more.........stuff.)

Meeple Realty Expansion Illustrations

Tommy from Meeple Realty sent me these early photos of the Meeple Realty Expansion insert for Feudum!  After removing the game's cardboard insert, this expansion insert will rest beside your original Meeple Realty insert to accommodate 3 sets of Rudders & Ramparts, The Queen's Army, The Guild Tracking Dice and even a bonus compartment that further organizes the game's location discs!  Once i get ACTUAL photos, I will post an update (as well as update the blank photo in the PM). You will notice below that one insert compartment will hold the Guild Tracking Dice without having to remove them from their cool package. You might also notice the notches in the lower left photo that will secure the narrow part of the each airship balloon!

My dear backers, 

We failed to turn on “whole order shipping” which adds the weight of your KS pledge along with any add-ons to charge you accurately for shipping. I'm so embarrassed!

Consequently, many of you were NOT charged for the shipping associated with your pledge items. Therefore, we are asking you to RE-ENTER your survey and Review the new shipping fees, or in some cases add payment to cover the shipping charge you will now see with your order.
